“The Coming Third Era” of Judaism will be discussed at a breakfast, starting at 10:15 a.m. at Ezra-Habonim, the Niles Township Jewish Congregation, 4500 Dempster, Skokie. Leading the program will be Dan Libenson, founder and president of The Institute for the Next Jewish Future, which is a hub for ideas, education, and action dedicated to accelerating bold innovation in Jewish life. Libenson will share his thoughts about today’s Judaism which he sees as a time of transition. “It is analogous to the 40 years in the wilderness, the Babylonian exile or the Yavneh period which was the birth of rabbinic Judaism,” Libenson says.
