CJE SeniorLife elected a new slate of officers for the 2010 fiscal year at the organization's recent annual meeting. New officers include: James C. Mills, chair of the board; Bruce L. Lederman, vice chair; Harvey R. Kallick, treasurer; and , secretary. New board members slated for a two-year term are: Jordan C. Berger; Barbara N. Fox; Michael E. Koen; Richard M. Kohn; Susan Reese; Dr. Carlton R. Resnick; Karen Rosenthal; and .

New board members slated for a one-year term are: Leslie Markman Stern and Dianne Tesler, Directors slated for an additional three-year term include: Joseph J. Cohen; Allen M. Ellenby; Sherry A. Fox; Stephen P. Sandler; and Audrey E. Selin.

In other CJE SeniorLife news, Marvin Rosenberg was recently named marketing counselor at CJE SeniorLife's Karmel campus in Deerfield, scheduled to open in 2012.

On Beth Judea Congregation's Mitzvah Day, congregants bought clothes and accessories that filled three vans for clients of Jewish Child and Family Services. In addition, religious school classes gathered toys for Chai Lifeline, made canvas bags for campers at a camp for children whose parents have cancer, decorated gift bags for CJE SeniorLife clients, sent cards to Jewish troops in the U.S. military, sorted coupons to be sent to military families and worked on many other projects. The event was chaired by Ronna Leibach.
