NEW HEAD FOR JCFS...
By CJN staff (11/20/2009)
Howard Sitron is the new executive director of Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS). He was formerly executive vice president and chief operating officer of Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia.

"I'm excited to get started," Sitron said. "I highly value the team that I'm coming to join: the board, senior management, and the staff. Their positive energy level and commitment to both the agency and community influenced my decision to make this move. Despite the past year's financial hardships, the agency remains committed to looking ahead. They have kept one foot in the reality of the present, balancing budgets and serving clients, but have not lost energy for the vision of the organization and where it needs to go moving forward," Sitron said.

Through its 35 programs, JCFS provides a range of therapeutic, education and preventive services for children, families and older adults. For more information visit www.jcfs.org.
